PP: Assignment 3

I was not sure how I would like this book at first, because I am not used to reading romance novels. However, I was very curious as to how this book would compare to Jane Eyre. I was glad to know that this book would not be as grim as Jane Eyre. I have liked the story thus far, and I like the way that the story is starting to develop. I have also like seeing some of the elements of the story that are very similar to that of Jane Eyre, giving me an idea of what could possibly happen next. At this point in the story, I think that both Mr. Collins and Wickham could have a large impact on the story in their own way. Mr. Collins could be a factor for Darcy because now he has taken an interest in Elizabeth as well. However, she does not seem to have much interest in him. Mr. Wickham could actually pose a problem for both Darcy and Mr. Wickham, because of all of the attention that he grabs, especially Elizabeth’s. In addition to that he Darcy do not seem to like each other very much. I am curious about how the “Battle for Elizabeth’s affection” will continue to change as the story continues to develop.
