Pride and Prejudice assignment 2

My response to a character in the book is going to be Mr. Darcy. Mr. Darcy started out in the book as a real jerk to be honest. I think that his change during the past couple chapters is because of the sensibility that Elizabeth has. Now that we're actually into the book i realize why this book's original name was "First Impressions". Anyways my view of the past couple chapters is that it's pretty funny, but there's a lot of things going on. I like the sense of speed that Jane Austen writes with. I feel this way because the book starts out with the family of the Benets. Then the story goes into the ball that Mr. Darcy insults Lizzy in. Now there's a whole situation with Mr. Darcy trying to show his feelings for Lizzy, but Lizzy is angry at Mr. Darcy and she doesn't want to talk to him at all. Also, there's another situation with Lizzy's sister Jane, who's sick with a fever. Lizzy goes to Mr. Bingley's house to see her sister. So my feelings of this book is that the story is starting to build up, and the story is going to get better.
