TOTS: Act 2

I liked Act two alot mor because the story starts to break down, and gets more within depth. I didn't understand what was going on at first because of all the character changes. I feel like this story heavily revolves around a ruse or metamorphosis. I think that one major example of this the beginning. In the beginning of the book, everyone changes their appearance inorder to fool a very drunk and disoriented Christopher Sly. In addition to that, they even change his appearance to create the illusion that he is a king (not to mention that there is also a play within a play) . I thought that Katherine's methods for gathering information were very unorthodox (as well as heavily induced anger and possible jealousy). I didn't understand what was going on at first but as soon as she mentioned Gremio, I knew what was going on. I think that my favorite part of Act two was when Katherine met Pertruchio. I liked their conversation because of he didnt seemed phased by her, and he made everything that she said into a sex joke. I liked it because it was a really good showcase of Shakespeare's raunchiness.
