#9

I would just like to say that I was always on Darcy’s side, he was my favorite character right from the beginning and through these last few chapters has proven himself to be a great guy under it all. He continues to have a distant attitude, but in my opinion uses this as a shield because he is so shy. I could not believe that he helped Elizabeth’s family out in such a huge way when Lydia got herself into a huge mess with Wickham, this is definite proof that he is still in love with Elizabeth. She on the other hand has fallen for him but misunderstands his actions as those of someone who is no longer interested. I love Elizabeth, but I think she really needs to get a clue. Lydia on the other hand, has lost all my support and interest, the way she acts at her parents house when she arrives after being married is unacceptable, does she not know what she has done and what she has cost her family?? Anyway, she needs a huge wake up call and I hope she ends up realizing what she has done and feels terrible about it. Jane continues to be her naïve, innocent self and eventually ends up with Bingley when he comes to visit without realizing any of the things that happened to stop her and Bingley from being together. All the mix up caused by Darcy and Bingley sisters is forgotten and they get engaged.
