Pride and Prejudice assignment 10

I think that the conversation with Elizabeth and Lady Catherine, is very straight forward in the wishes of Lady Catherine. Also, i feel like it was more like a battle of wits between Lady Catherine and Lizzy, and i think that Lady Catherine felt very threatened by how much Elizabeth knew, and that made her even more uneasy. I think that Elizabeth handle it the best she could, because i would've done the same thing because Lady Catherine basically said that she doesn't want to be related to a lower-class family and that Darcy deserves a lot better then Elizabeth, and that's extremely rude to say to somebody, especially if you're in the person's home. So I think Elizabeth could have done a nicer job in saying what she said, but I can understand where she's coming from. I think that the conversation with Darcy and Elizabeth was a lot better then their old conversations. I feel this way because they were more flirtatious now and back when Elizabeth hated Darcy she would always try to say something rude or get angry at everything Darcy would say. I think they can enjoy each others company now because they love each other and they can understand each other a lot more then they used to.
