P and P #6.

In chapters 21-40 of Pride and Prejudice, Elizabeth is introduced to Colonel Fitzwilliam, while in Kent. She also manages to see Mr. Darcy quite a few times while staying at the Collins abode. Elizabeth usually saw either Fitzwilliam or Mr. Darcy at church or when Elizabeth would take her walks. Elizabeth, the Lucas’s and the Collins are invited to Rosings for coffee, or tea, or something like that. While there, Lady Catherine seems very annoyed, that she had to invite Elizabeth and all the rest. Then Fitzwilliam approaches Elizabeth asks her to play the piano for him. While playing, Elizabeth and Fitzwilliam take a dive into the character of Mr. Darcy. Then in the next 2 or 3 days Mr. Darcy sees Elizabeth alone in the Collins home for a few minutes. Then Elizabeth finds out that it was because of Darcy that Mr. Bingley left Lounghborn. Elizabeth then goes over all the letters she’s received from Jane. Then Mr. Darcy proposes to Elizabeth, and she refuses, saying that he has caused misfortune for her sister and for Mr. Wickhum. Darcy then leaves a letter for Elizabeth the next day and he along with Fitzwilliam depart from Rosings. Then Elizabeth, and the Lucas’s leave Rosings and return to Lounghborn.
