PP: Assignment 10

I thought these chapters showed the growth in Elizabeth. I thought that her conversation with Lady Catherine De Bourgh was an indication of her seeing herself for the way she has done things n the past. I was actually surprised by what she said to Lady Catherine, as well as how she handled it. I actually liked it because rather than respond to her the way she did when they first met, she really left Lady Catherine confused and unable to say anything to her. I was curious as to how Darcy and Elizabeth would react once they had a chance to talk to each other following the recent incident with their sister. I think what surprised me the most is that she actually told him how she felt that she would accept another proposal from him. I think that the whole fiasco involving Mr. Wickham caused Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy to come closer due to their relationships with him. As a result of this they began to show different emotions and feelings towards another, drawing them into each other. I think because of the way they acted towards each other during that time, they can enjoy each others company now because they know how they really feel about each other.
