Assignment 9

I think Elizabeth is officially madly in love with Mr. Darcy. After much thought and consideration, she thinks that if he should propose to her again, she would say yes. Mr. Darcy is continuing to prove to be a worthy candidate and a good person overall. He was actually the person to find Lydia and Wickham in London, attended their wedding and paid off Wickham’s gambling debts and also gave him enough money to marry Lydia. This could seem like a strange way of dealing with someone who you despise, but I think he did it in order to help Mr. Bennet and also out of love for Elizabeth. Lydia is an incredibly naive little girl who thinks she is the luckiest person alive. When she and Wickham paid their unwelcome visit to the Bennets’, she constantly chided her siblings for being inferior to her now that she was the youngest and only Bennet daughter to be married. Seeing as Mr. Bennet was the one who agreed to send Lydia away with Mr. Wickham, he could be blamed for what happened, but I think he had better things in mind for his daughter and would never had expected for them to do such a thing. I am so glad that Jane and Bingham are finally together. I think they are very cute together and am glad that they have finally cleared up all the confusion made by his sisters.
