PP: Assignment 7

I think that the more the book continues to go more in depth, the more unexpected things start to happen. I think that Elizabeth is constantly making quick assumptions about some of the men in the story. One man in particular in Mr. Darcy. I think that she always seems to have ideas about the type of person he is based off of scattered experiences that had with him. Due to this prejudiced view of him, I try to give Mr. Darcy the benefit of the doubt. However, I was totally not expected the accusations against him to actually be correct. I think I was even more surprised because he actually had the nerve to propose to her. Then again, love makes people do some crazy things. I think that upon receiving the letter, I understood what he was trying to say. However, in the process of doing so, Elizabeth begins to have second thoughts about Wickham and Mr. Darcy. She seemed to understand the letter and read it with acceptance. I was actually surprised to see her take the letter considering what had happened when Mr. Darcy proposed to her. I think the thing that I am most curious to know about now is how this is going to have an impact on the rest of the story. I think that it won’t be long before something else happens to cause more of Elizabeth’s feelings to fluctuate in the story.
